Working with a landscape implies that it is never finished, because even as a design is completed, the landscape is just beginning a new chapter of growth. ​My designs are based on the give and take between the land and people, creating an environment that does not simply exist but evolves together.
About
My name is Lauren Cruvellier
I grew up in the Fingerlakes region of New York and my fondest memories spent in the surrounding nature are something I wish all people had access to. While I have far too many interests to fit into a single profession, for me Landscape Design is all about re-thinking imposed boundaries to change how we see the world around us. Inspiration comes from many places, but primarily native habitats, historical influences and climate resilience are central most of my designs.

I have a Master's Degree of Landscape Architecture from Cornell CALS (2022) and have been doing independent design since graduation.
